Cognitive/Learning Disability
Print Disability is not just experienced by people with vision impairment. Many more people struggle with print for other reasons – dyslexia, learning disabilities, and even simply because their first language is not English.
Often, these people are better at learning in an auditory way, and Quantum has put together a range of software solutions that work by either converting printed material to clear recorded speech, or playing a speech version of the original synchronised with the printed material as shown on a computer screen.
