  • Select to include an Alternate binding margin that alternates the presence of a binding margin between the left and right sides of the paper, ideal for double sided embossing. For odd numbered pages, the binding margin appears on the left side of the page, for even numbered pages, it will appear on the right.
  • Select one of the predetermined language profiles to determine how text is translated into Braille. Chose from UK English grades 1 & 2, US English grades 1 & 2, Swedish grades 1 & 2, German grades 1, 1.5 & 2, French grades 1 & 2 and Unified English Braille grades 1 & 2.

There are three choices: Ignore the character, replace it with a default substitute (two full Braille cells - two for-signs) or to render the character number (Unicode).
  • Determine how images are handled during the conversion process choosing to ignore them totally, render them if they have ALT text, or always render them even if they don't have ALT text. Normally, the word "Image" is placed before an image to show that a picture was in the original text.
  • Select how tables are handled during the conversion process choosing to ignore them totally or render them in paragraph form. In paragraph form, each row of the table is Brailled as a paragraph with each column separated by a semicolon; empty cells are represented by a dash.
  • Select your preferred Braille embosser  from your standard list of embossers (and printers) and installed on your system
  • Select whether your embosser is able to interpret the form feed character to move to the top of a new page.
