Customer Testimonials

Catharina Edwards, Warrong, Victoria

“As a recipient of from WYNN I am truly grateful. I am a mature age self supporting student that has been out of the school system for over 35 years and have a reading & spelling difficulty, which until now has limited me with studies. At Deakin University there are supports in place for people like my self with difficulties such as specialized software, one of which is the WYNN program. Unfortunately I live a fare distance out of town which limited me from using this software until now. Now that I was lucky enough to receive this software package within your scholarship program I am no longer at a disadvantage, my spelling is improving and reading documents has become more simplified for me to understand. All the features that Wynn provides has given me hope to succeed by presenting better assignments in addition to improving my writing and spelling skills. There are many people with disabilities that can benefit as well as achieve thanks to the specialized software that is now available through you company, your scholarship program is a credit to you so please keep helping the disadvantaged students like myself in the future so as they may also obtain a sense of worth and learn new skills for their future.

I am now entering my second year at Deakin University at Warrnambool studying to achieve my Bachelor of Nursing degree, and with the help of WYNN software my studies shall become easier, again thankyou so very much for your support.

Sincerely yours, Catharina Edwards”

Robert Arthur Withington, Launceston, TAS

”Hi, my name is Robert Withington, the recipient of the Wynn scholarship which was proudly sponsored by Freedom Scientific and Quantum technology which I received at the disability conference "Pathway 8 - toward 2020: What we do now will make the difference".

Just a little bit about myself, I was diagnosed with dyslexia in November 2005. Wynn literacy software had a small article which described dyslexia perfectly: ‘dyslexia is a Pacific learning disability that is characterised by the difficulty with accurate and/or fluent word recognition by poor spelling and decoding abilities’ (The International Dyslexia Association®).

I am 44 years of age and have had no formal educational studies for approximately 20 years. All through these years I coped with my struggles and shortcomings in literacy. I was not going to let it discourage me throughout my working career. The decision was made to follow my dreams to become a nurse through attending the University of Tasmania, Launceston. The first year of the bachelor of nursing degree was possible with the help of computer programs which assisted me and also with the support of the disability sector of the University.

The Wynn scholarship will allow me the ability to listen to my university text and Internet journal articles, with the new enhanced synthesiser improving the quality and comprehension of the word spoken through this new technology. It looks like my second year of nursing will be greatly enhanced and enjoyable through the help from Quantum Technology and Freedom Scientific.

I would like to make special attention to Trevor for taking the time and effort in helping with the training and understanding of the programs. If only we could have more companies like these working together to benefit all disabilities and non-disabilities throughout society.

I would like to be able to send correspondence to you in the future to keep you up-to-date with the plight of my bachelor of nursing degree and my developing skills through use of the programs, because I am hoping this will assist and help other people considering purchasing your product.

I am sincerely thankful for this opportunity you have given me.”.
