Jaws for Windows Information Session - Invitation

Freedom Scientific is one of the world’s leading producers of assistive technology in the areas of blindness, low vision and learning disability.

Eric Damery, Vice President, Software Product Management will be visiting Australia to conduct an information tour this May. The purpose of this tour is to provide an opportunity to:

• Learn about the recent innovations in JAWS for Windows screen reading software, Openbook scanning and reading software, MAGic magnification and other Freedom Scientific products
• Discuss plans for future developments
• Provide feedback and ideas

Topics covered will include:

• Constantly changing Microsoft environments: Windows Vista, etc.
• Usability
• Portability
• Licensing, networking and flexibility

The information and discussion session will be of interest to all educators working with vision impaired students. All students and their parents are welcome to attend and are also welcome to stay on and participate in the Jaws User Forum being held from 6:00 – 8:00pm on the same evening.

The forum will be held at Quantum Technology, 5 South Street, Rydalmere.

Afternoon tea will be provided free of charge.
